You have booked your flight and your application to Berkeley College has been accepted.
What happens next and what shall you expect?
For me when I came to New York for 14 months ago I did not know anybody and I traveled alone. The last weeks before leaving is a struggle between feeling wow this is going to be so amazing and it is going to be scary because I am traveling all alone and I DO NOT KNOW ANYBODY in NEW YORK……..
Even do you travel alone and it might be scary you will meet a lot of new people and I have friends that I know I am going to keep being friends with for the rest of my life.

Some tips to during the first weeks:
- Be open to do new things and participate in everything where you can meet new people.
- Arrange events and invite people to join you in doing things that you like. (Arrange a pub crawl, Brooklyn Bridge trip, see the US.Open, go to see a movie)
- Remember that you are not alone and there are a lot of people that are in the same situation that just are waiting on to do something fun
- Walk a lot and explore the city. Take a walk from Central park down to Bryant Park. You will see a lot of people and there are a lot stores on the way.
- If you have any questions about the school or need help with something visit the International Office at campus (13 floor, 41 street).
- Take a lot of pics and enjoy your start on new big adventure
